Breaking the Cycle of Gang Recruitment, 11/15
These 20 students from South Grade Elementary in Lake Worth are the newest members of PBSO’s “Breaking the Cycle of Gang Recruitment” program. For 8 weeks, deputies will help the youngsters build Lego model cars, teaching them life lessons along the way and building relationships.
At the end of the program, the kids will race their cars down a wooden ramp, be issued certificates of completion, enjoy a pizza party and be treated to a fun field trip to the LEGOLAND theme park in Winter Haven! The Sheriff’s Foundation is a proud sponsor of this program. |
